AfPP Launch Behaviours Charter

CPOC Partner The Association for Perioperative Practice have launched The AfPP Behaviours Charter. 

The evidence-based framework sets out clear expectations for professional behaviour across the perioperative team and emphasises that civility, empathy and respect are as importanece as clinical excellence. The charter defines how professionals from the perioperative team should interact with everyone they come in contact with.

At the Centre for Perioperative Care (CPOC), we are pleased to endorse the resource alongside Civility Saves Lives. This work ties into CPOC's own work on improving behaviours in the perioperative team.
