Age Anaesthesia Association (AAA) and the Irish Gerontological Society (IGS) , are holding  a joint conference in The Metropole Hotel, Cork, Ireland, on the 26th and 27th of March 2026. This first-of-its-kind meeting unites two leading societies to focus on the care of the older adult in surgery, bringing together the full perioperative pathway from assessment to recovery.

They anticipate robust engagement from anaesthetists, surgeons, geriatricians, nursing and health and social care professionals.
